Tenali Rama

Tenali Rama is a Hindi-language historical comedy-drama series that originally aired on Sony SAB from July 11, 2017, to November 13, 2020, and was revived for a second season on December 16, 2024. The show is based on the life of Tenali Ramakrishna, a 16th-century Telugu poet and one of the Ashtadiggajas (eight esteemed poets) in the court of Vijayanagara emperor Krishnadevaraya. Known for his wit and intelligence, Tenali Rama uses his cleverness to solve complex problems and navigate court intrigues. The series blends humor with historical narratives, making it appealing to audiences of all ages. In the second season, Tenali Rama returns to Vijayanagar after being ostracized, facing new challenges and mentoring young protégés to protect the kingdom.
